Microneedling at S2 Aesthetics treats the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improves skin's texture, tone and color. Our medical grade Eclipse Micropen Elite reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, stretch marks and acne scars. It can improve the appearance of age spots, black heads and hyper-pigmentation as well as exfoliate the skin.

Microneedling is a known collagen induction therapy that improves skin tone and texture for softer, younger-looking skin. Microneedling can be done on all parts of the body: face, neck, decollete, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back. A sterile cartridge containing 12 tiny micro-points is attached to the Eclipse Micropen Elite. Our trained RN will apply a sterile hyaluronic acid serum to your skin and select the appropriate needle depth based on your unique needs. Your skin will be numbed prior to your treatment using a prescription strength numbing cream. Numbing takes 30 minutes and the treatment takes 15-30 minutes depending on the size of area treated.

There is minimal downtime after your microneedling treatment. On average, clients experience redness for 2-4 days. Some clients heal completely in 24 hours. You will notice an immediate "glow" to your skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after your treatment. Some clients only require a single treatment once a year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most clients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced out 6-8 weeks apart. For clients with more significant skin-care concerns, such as acne scars, it may be recommended to receive 5-8 treatments at 6 week intervals.
